Just some stuffs in the "current" slot of my mind:
Reading
- The Iliad: much more enjoyable than the Aeneid, probably because it has more blood and gore

Or maybe because I had to read the Aeneid for class assignment. Achilles still sulks in his little
love shack hut by the sea. Make for quite a fun read during commute to work though

- The Amber Spyglass: my weekend reading. I think the mulefas are kinda cute, wonder what they look like though. At the moment, they looks like baby elephants in my mind

Also, I guess being non-Christian means lots of stuffs that should be shocking/blasphemous/outrageous/ohnotheydidn't etc. go over my head.
Still about books
-Bought Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman a few days ago, and I plan to read that after I finished Pratchett's Equal Rites. Also, WEE! finally got my hand on this book
[link] (that's a hat pin on front cover, btw). I didn't expect to find it in bookstore, but there it was. I just adore Lalique; his designs are beautiful and marvelous.
Work
- Job is sometimes boring, sometimes fun, but overall I like it. I got a very surprised looks during an interview when I told interviewers(now bosses) that if I weren't in this particular career field I'd probably be in art. I'm actually supposed to write a report on the Russian economy and investment prospect at the moment, but after reading several unpronounceable Russian company names my brain just shut down
In Which I Tried My Hands On Poetry
Got inspired to write a poem after reading this
[link] and several other poems on the site. It's going to be a song sung by one of my original character

One of the stanzas initially went like this:
I am a song that lover sings
I am a cry of battle fought
I am an oath, true promise bring
And I am a lie,
well, something ends with ought
Obviously I'm not cut out for poetry
Until next time,
