Seamus Bander from 's story trying to strike a conversation with little seal pup. I don't think either of them understand what the other says though
It started off as little sketch inspired from my seal spotting. Originally I plan to do the usual inking then scan or color but then realized that the paper is the super-bleeding kind so had to scrap that. As it happened, I just recently figured out how to use the pen tool in photoshop and was quite curious to see how well I did and the result is this. It's also my first serious attempt at chibi, which is more difficult than expected

P.S. come to think of it, add whiskers, and voila! he looks like a seal
Oooh, cute! Well done for your first attempt at chibi.
The faces are so cute. Yeah, chibi is much more difficult than what people assume. This isn't extreme chibi, which would have been a major disaster for your first attempt. But advice for this, um... I really don't know. ^_^;

He's adorable! Yes, he would look like a little seal if you gave him the whiskers I finally finished the seventh scene today, which makes this even more exciting. Ee! I'm so happy that I'm getting fanart!

If holidays were twelve months long And life were games and fun And all the skies Were filled with PSI's ...Would thinking still get done?
Thank you! I guess the difficulty of drawing chibi (for me) lays in its simpleness; You have to convey so much with very few lines, and still make it cute. Hopefully I"ll get better at drawing it

I think it seems that alot of artists have a sort of 'niche.' Mine I surprisingly found that I could draw cute. You did a such a good job on this pic though, I'm surprised you had a hard time.
